One click adds it to your product page in the theme editor. Set the label, the file types and whether an upload is required.
Customers upload
They choose or drag a photo, see it right away, and add the product to the cart. The file goes straight into your Shopify Files.
Open it from the order
The order shows a link to each file under the line item. The Uploads page lists every file with the product it was made on.

Set a minimum size in pixels and photos too small for a sharp print are turned away with a clear message (Pro).
Crop to the shape you print
Square, 4:5, 2:3 and more. Customers frame their photo before it uploads, so what they see is what you print (Pro).
No customer data
Dropslot never reads your orders or customers. Each upload is linked on the cart line, and Shopify carries it to the order.

Is there an upload limit?
No. Every plan, including Free, takes unlimited uploads. Files are stored in your own Shopify Files, which comes with your Shopify plan's file storage.
Where do I find the files?
On the order, under the line item, as a link named after your upload field (for example "Your photo"). Every upload is also in Dropslot's Uploads page and in Content → Files in your Shopify admin.
Which file types can customers upload?
On Free: JPG, PNG, HEIC, WEBP and GIF photos, and PDFs. Pro and Plus add design and print files such as AI, EPS, PSD, SVG, TIFF and ZIP. Each file can be up to 20 MB.
Does it work with my theme?
It's a theme app block, so it works with Online Store 2.0 themes such as Dawn and the other free Shopify themes. Add it to your product template from the theme editor.
Can I show the field on some products only?
Yes. Set a product tag in the block settings and the field only appears on products with that tag. Or use a separate product template for personalized products.
What happens if I uninstall?
The files stay in your Shopify Files and the links on your orders keep working. Dropslot deletes its own list of uploads 48 hours after you uninstall.
